The Taproom
Two old barns behind Main Street in Andes, NY.
That's where you'll find us.
— and if you've been before, you already know what we mean when we say something settles when you walk in.
Wayside's taproom has been open since 2016. The barns are beautiful and worn in exactly the right ways — the kind of space that doesn't announce itself, which is, we think, the whole point. In the warmer months everyone ends up in the courtyard between the two buildings. Three seasons of sunshine and cider and good conversation, with the Catskills sitting right there behind it all, doing what mountains do.
When the cold comes, we move upstairs. The attic of the main barn — restored, warm, a little magic if we're allowed to say so — becomes a gathering hall for live music, craft events, and the kind of long winter nights that make you glad you didn't go home.
We pour all of our ciders at the bar, alongside what we'll humbly submit is the best craft beer selection in Delaware County, a thoughtful list of biodynamic wines, and local spirits. Pair something with The Wayside Pantry — our own cured pork, local cheeses from down the road, pickled vegetables from the farmers market.
This is the place. Come settle in.
Can’t wait to see you!
