Bios:
Marisa Caruso
Marisa Caruso is the founder of the Hill People’s Comedy Fest and a member of the sketch trio Gimlick. She is an actor, comedian and producer based in the Catskills where she is a producing member of The Party Theater. She has performed and taught improv/sketch comedy with folks ages 4 through 80 in schools, theaters, church basements, eastern European cultural centers, the Villa Roma, public parks, and living rooms (or wherever people will tolerate whimsy).
Garth Kravits
Garth Kravits is a Broadway Veteran actor, who made his debut in the Tony award winning musical The Drowsy Chaperone and originated the role of Ritchie in the Broadway show Gettin’ the Band Back Together. Off-Broadway credits include Old Jews Telling Jokes, Toxic Audio and Smart Blonde. He has Guest Starred on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Mr. Robot, The Blacklist, 30 Rock, The Hunters, and in the film Sweet November. Garth founded cut & dry films in 2013 and has written, directed, produced and performed in over 30 short form comedy films. He has been performing and teaching improv for over 30 years. As an award winning vocalist, musician and songwriter he has performed in theaters, concert halls, clubs and festivals around the globe.
Shaye Troha
Shaye Troha is a performer without a box that’s been on the stage in various forms for over 25 years. For 7 years, she was an actor/director in SF’s long loved sketch troupe Killing My Lobster, having performed in NYC Sketch Fest, SF SketchFest and Vancouver Sketch Fest. She toured domestically and internationally (Oberon Theater, Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, Berkeley Rep) with “Beowulf: a Thousand Years of Baggage”, which she choreographed. Her current love is producing/emceeing her own variety cabarets (you may have seen her at the Chez Shaye Cabaret at Wayside Cider or beyond!) and rocking the keys in the electro duo band, Samonik. @samonik
Josh Lay
His work has been seen on Disney +, Prime Video's Game Breakers, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Nickelodeon, and unfortunately, Vice Live. His biggest achievement is being a contestant on Double Dare with Marc Summers as an adult.
